The refugee crisis in the Middle East continues to escalate. At least 50% of the Syrian population has been displaced from their homes. Many have fled to neighboring countries in fear of ISIS and other extreme groups. Hundreds of thousands of refugees now have their sights set on the safety of Europe.

The tragedies unfolding in front of our eyes on the daily news (such as brutal killings, refugees on makeshift rafts and children washed up on shores) demand a response from the global church. Mercy and love are what can bring healing to lives that are broken.

Since 2013, Pioneers teams have been providing aid and relief to thousands of desperate refugees. In addition to continued support of these established refugee ministries, we are also proactively planning how to best meet the ever-changing needs of migrants traveling throughout Europe. Our prayer is that God will use for good what man has intended for evil (Genesis 50:20).
