Use your skills to share Jesus, bring hope to the nations, and make disciples among people who have never heard the gospel.

				Your Work Matters
God designed work with purpose. Whether you’re building, teaching, designing, leading, or serving, your skills have value in His mission. You don’t have to leave your profession to make an impact—you simply need to be willing to go where He leads. When your skills and passion meet ministry, doors open to communities that might otherwise remain closed—creating opportunities to share the message of Jesus with those who have not yet heard.Articles

How to Integrate your Skills
You don’t have to choose between missions and your career. Accepting God's invitation to use your skills for His mission allows you to live with purpose, impact, and eternal significance. Here are two primary ways to do this:
1. Business as Mission (BAM)
Launch or manage a business that operates with integrity, compassion, and purpose. Your work becomes a testimony to the character of Jesus—creating jobs, serving communities, and opening doors for the gospel in places where the church has not yet been planted.
Example: A couple opened a small café in Southeast Asia, hiring local staff and sourcing ingredients from nearby farmers. The café became a community gathering spot, where conversations about life and faith happened naturally over shared meals. Through daily interactions, their work opened doors for friendships and spiritual discussions that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise.
2. Employment
Join a company in another culture and live out your faith in your role. Through your presence, values, and excellence, you can build relationships and see doors opened to the gospel—even in places closed to traditional ministry.
Example: A software developer accepted a position with a tech firm in North Africa. By consistently showing kindness, integrity, and excellence in her work, she earned the trust of her colleagues. Over time, they began asking about her values and worldview, leading to deep conversations about hope, purpose, and the message of Jesus—conversations that might never have happened without her presence in that workplace.
